Description

Epoxy.com Synthetic Anti-Skid Additive  is a lightweight, durable, optically clear thermoset polycarbonate aggregate. Epoxy.com Synthetic Anti-Skid Additive is added to clear or pigmented polymer resin topcoats to create a skid-resistant textured finish.

  • Optically Clear: Will Not Distort Pigmented or Clear Topcoats.
  • Durable: Improves Abrasion Resistance of Topcoats.
  • Chemical Resistant: Resists Acids, Caustics, Solvents, Harsh Detergents.

Considerations

  • Available in 3 grit sizes: Coarse 20/30 mesh, Medium 40/60 mesh, Fine 60/100 mesh.
  • Blend with the polymer topcoat during mixing, or lightly broadcast into topcoat during application.
  • Recommended quantity to use will vary by such factors as polymer type, thickness, and desired non-skid finish.
  • Floors with very coarse textured finishes will require scrubbing with a bristled brush to clean thoroughly.
