In many instances petroleum can penetrate the surface of concrete floors to the extent that the oil may not be removed by surface cleaning. If untreated, this oil may migrate back to the surface to cause a delamination. SURFACE PREPARATIONConcrete should be thoroughly degreased and solvent washed. Create a profile with a wire brush, scarifying, or abrasive blast. As much of the oil should be removed as possible. Surface must be sound. All loose or soft concrete must be removed. MIXING INSTRUCTIONSTemperature of Epoxy.com Product #201 Epoxy Oil Stop Primer - For Oil Saturated Concrete must be 60°F or above at time of mixing. Stir each component separately before blending. Pour Part A into a clean container and add Part B Stir for three minutes with a low speed electric drill motor equipped with a mixing paddle. Immediately begin application. Apply Epoxy.com Product #201 Epoxy Oil Stop Primer at a rate of 200-320 SF per gallon. Be sure to install your next coat within 24 hours. Temperature of substrate must be between 50°F and 90°F. DO NOT thin. Be sure to install your next coat within 24 hours.
