Epoxy Injection ResinFor Concrete and WoodWaterproofing Structural RepairProduct DescriptionEpoxy.com Product #3301 is a 2-component, low viscosity, 100% solids, epoxy injection resin for concrete and wooden substrates. DESCRIPTIONEpoxy.com Product #3301 is a 100% solids low viscosity epoxy adhesive used to restore cracked structural concrete by the pressure injection method and to grout cracks in a horizontal plane by gravity. ADVANTAGES
APPLICATION PROCEDURESSurface Preparation for Epoxy InjectionSurface must be clean and sound. Interfaces of cracks must be free of dirt, laitance, grease, curing compounds and other foreign matter. Flushing with water through ports under pressure may he necessary prior to epoxy injection. Cracks may be damp or wet. Epoxy Mixing DirectionsTemperature of Product #3301 must be 60°F. or above at time of mixing. Stir each component separately before blending. Best if used in an automatic binary mixing system. If mixed manually mix two parts by volume of Part A with one part by volume of B for three minutes with a low-speed electric drill motor equipped with a mixing paddle. Application Epoxy Injection ResinFor pressure injection set ports at intervals that approximately equal the thickness of the member to be injected in inches. Ports may need to place closer together for very fine cracks, or may be slightly further for wider cracks. Seal between and around each port with Product #2005, or #2006. Inject Product #3301 from an epoxy injection machine or binary hand or pneumatic injection gun. For more information consult Epoxy.com technical service department. Use methyl ethyl ketone or any lacquer solvent. Environment & HealthThis is a solvent free and Nonyl Phenol free product, and practically odorless during application. Follow the appropriate Occupational Health and Safety guidelines applicable to the location where the application is undertaken. For more information, please refer to the safety datasheets for the individual components. Ratio of Components2 parts of component A are mixed with 1 part of component B, by volume. Add Hardener B to Base A. Mix with slow speed drill and appropriate mixing paddle taking care not to entrain air. May also be mixed by appropriate static mix tube. Application TemperatureThe recommended substrate temperature is 60° - 80°F, but no less than 50°F. Application Time/Pot LifeMixed product should be used within 40 minutes at a temperature of 70°F. At higher temperatures the application time is shorter. Curing Time (at 70°F)Approximately 12 hours. The product is fully hardened after 5 - 7 days.
