Product #3300 Epoxy Block Filler
A two-component, high-build epoxy block filler formulated to fill and level porous concrete masonry units and imperfections in poured concrete before application of compatible seal coats or finish coatings.
General Description
Epoxy.com Product #3300 is a durable, two-component epoxy block filler designed to fill small voids, crevices, grout joints, and surface imperfections in porous concrete masonry units and poured concrete.
Product #3300 provides a smoother, more even surface for subsequent coating. When used with appropriate compatible seal coats, it helps create a cleanable wall system with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance.

These are typical values, not guaranteed specifications. Coverage varies substantially with block porosity, joint depth, void size, surface profile, waste, and application technique. Cooler temperatures extend working, recoat, and cure times.
Surface Preparation
Surface preparation is critical. The substrate must be clean, dry, sound, and free of curing agents, dirt, dust, grease, oil, coatings, and other foreign materials that may interfere with adhesion.
Concrete and masonry must be properly prepared. Do not leave standing water in joints or voids. Remove loose material and contaminants before mixing or application.
Mixing Instructions
- Condition the material, substrate, and application area to at least 50°F.
- Combine 2 parts Part A resin with 1 part Part B hardener by volume.
- Mix for 3-4 minutes using suitable low-speed mixing equipment.
- Continue mixing until the material is a consistent color with no streaks.
- Mix only the amount that can be placed within 20-25 minutes at 75°F.
Application
Apply Product #3300 with a trowel or putty knife at approximately 75-160 square feet per gallon, or as required to fill the actual voids and surface profile.
For CMU grout joints, first fill the joints and strike the material off flush. Allow the filled joints to cure hard before skim coating the entire block-wall surface.
Two coats may be required to fill and level CMU grout joints and other deep or porous areas. After cure, sand trowel marks and high spots smooth before applying the compatible topcoat or seal coat.
Limitations
- Do not apply below 50°F.
- The substrate must be properly prepared and free of contaminants.
- Do not leave standing water in joints or voids.
- Coverage is highly dependent on block porosity and void depth.
- Trowel marks must be sanded smooth before topcoating.
- Use compatible seal coats or finish coatings appropriate for the intended service.
Cleanup and Safety
Remove uncured material from skin as soon as possible using soap and water. If soap and water are not sufficient, use a waterless hand cleaner such as Gojo® or Fast Orange®. White vinegar or 91% isopropyl alcohol may help remove remaining uncured epoxy. Strong solvents are not recommended on skin.
Clean tools and equipment promptly with xylene or lacquer thinner before the material cures. Follow the current SDS and use appropriate personal protective equipment, ventilation, fire-prevention practices, and disposal procedures.
